• Contact details you give us: name, email address, telephone number and employer.
• Candidate information: CV, work history, qualifications, salary expectations and availability.
• Client information: hiring briefs, role requirements and billing contacts.
• Correspondence with us, including enquiry forms, emails and call notes.
• Website usage data such as pages visited, referring site and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies.

• To match candidates with suitable roles and to present shortlists to clients.
• To respond to enquiries, arrange calls and manage our working relationship with you.
• To meet legal, tax and right-to-work obligations.
• To improve the website and understand which content is useful.

We rely on legitimate interests to run a recruitment service, on contract where we are engaged by a client or representing a candidate, on consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records. Candidate details are only shared with a prospective employer once you have agreed to that specific introduction. We also use trusted suppliers who process data on our behalf — for example email, scheduling, video hosting, website hosting and analytics providers — under written agreements. We do not sell your data.

We keep candidate records for up to two years after our last meaningful contact with you, and client and placement records for up to six years where tax or contractual rules require it. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

Access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it, protected by individual accounts and strong authentication. Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit and at rest.

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, restrict how we use it, object to processing, or ask us to delete it. To make a deletion request, see our Right to be Forgotten policy. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
